CMT utilizes its Laser Welding capability to manufacture Plungers, Bypasses,
Fittings and Valve Housings for the semiconductor industry. The materials
that are welded are 316 Vim-Var, 7MO and KM45. The robotic laser is
computer controlled and is highly accurate in maintaining the location, width
and penetration of both spot welds and continuous seam welds. The
positional and penetration tolerances held are within .002 inch.
